About Us
Our Mission
The mission of For Special You is to help the special needs children grow and develop through social activities; enhance the quality of lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through life skills training and job training; and help special needs families on employment opportunities.
Our Vision
We aim to be the platform to connect the special needs children and families in the world with the people, companies and organizations who would like to offer opportunities to help the special needs community.
Our Belief
We believe everyone is unique, special, and born with a mission. Individual differences in people are a natural part of life. Disabilities provide children and adults with differences and insights which contribute to the overall well-being of society. Our approach is to bring volunteers together with special needs children. The special needs children will learn and develop various skills through activities such as painting, art, singing, playing musical instruments, playing sports, playing board games, reading and writing. The adult disabilities will get trained on cooking etc. life skills and job training. We believe many of the special needs families need help on job employment and we will help them with employment opportunities.

Our Programs
Children developing skills
Every Sunday 2pm-5pm, we provide three hours tutoring program for the children to develop their skills on academic (reading and writing, math), art, music, and sports. Our high school volunteers will help the children improve skills through various activities at the community center.
Home cooking and culinary skills
Every Sunday 5-7pm, we offer home cooking and culinary skills for the children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We aim to improve the quality of lives and live independently when grow up.
Fund Raise events
We raise fund to help the special needs children and families financially. It is world wide program. We have helped the special needs children and families in USA, Canada, China, Japan, Korea, India and Mexico.
Employment opportunities
We connect these companies and organizations who would like to offer employment opportunities to special needs adults and/or their family members.
